Engineered for challenging applications.

MP35N is a versatile and high-performance alloy that has gained prominence in various industries, including the medical field. Its exceptional properties make it a suitable choice for critical components in medical devices and implants, particularly in applications where strength, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility are essential requirements.

Typical Chemistry

  • Nickel (Ni): 33.0-37.0%

  • Cobalt (Co): 35.0-40.0%

  • Chromium (Cr): 19.0-21.0%

  • Molybdenum (Mo): 9.0-10.5%

  • Iron (Fe): 1.0% max

  • Titanium (Ti): 1.0% max

  • Manganese (Mn): 0.15% max

  • Silicon (Si): 0.15% max

  • Carbon (C): 0.025% max

Use in the Medical Industry:

Orthopedic Implants: MP35N is used in the manufacturing of certain orthopedic implants, such as bone screws and components for joint replacements. Its strength, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility make it suitable for load-bearing applications.

Medical Springs and Components: The alloy is employed in the fabrication of springs and other small components for medical devices. Its high strength and corrosion resistance are advantageous in applications where these properties are critical.

Cardiovascular Devices: MP35N can be used in certain cardiovascular devices, such as stents and catheters, where its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties are essential.

Dental Applications: The alloy may find applications in dental devices and components due to its strength, biocompatibility, and resistance to corrosion in the oral environment.
