316L Stainless Steel – Corrosion-Resistant, Biocompatible, and Built for Performance
316L is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, biocompatibility, and strength. Its low carbon content reduces carbide precipitation, making it ideal for welding, forming, and use in medical or high-moisture environments.
MGM Industries provides 316L stainless bar and wire, made to spec and certified to ASTM A276, ASTM F899, ASTM F138, and AMS 5648 — ready for manufacturing.
