MP35N Cobalt-Alloy
Strength, Corrosion Resistance, Performance
Ultra-High Strength, Corrosion-Resistant Alloy for Medical, Aerospace, and High-Performance Applications
Nickel-Cobalt Base Alloy | UNS R30035 | ASTM F562 | AMS 5844, AMS 5845 | ISO 5832-6 | NACE MR0175
MP35N (UNS R30035), also known in some contexts as MP35M, is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy known for its exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, fatigue life, and biocompatibility. This alloy retains excellent mechanical properties at elevated temperatures and is non-magnetic in the annealed condition.
MP35N is used extensively in the medical industry for implantable devices, orthopedic components, surgical instruments, and vascular implants due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to body fluids and sterilization processes.
Key Features
-
Ultra-high strength and fatigue resistance
